It will be a special year, with 36 qualified clubs, due to late subscriptions, and reserved taken right after the deadline.

So we will play with 6 groups of 6 with 6 seeds, based on the latest World Ranking (eg. End September).

For that last year of a combined CL and EL split after the first round, will qualify for the Champions League:

• The Top 1st and 2nd of each group
• 4 of the best 3rd of groups.
• To avoid any problem with games lost on purpose, we will qualify the two of the best 3rd of groups A, B, C which are played at the same time, and qualify the two best 3rd of groups D, E ,F that will be played at the same time. That way, we limit to a minimum the possibility of cheating.
• The best 3rd will be determine by:
  • Number of points
  • Difference between individual games won/lost
  • Difference between goals scored/conceded
• The 4 last 6th of groups (determine like above), will play a group of 4 for places 33 to 36
• All the other teams (eg the other 2 3rd of groups all the 4th and 5th, and the best 6th, will play the Europa League

For the knock-out stage of both CL and EL (eg. 1/8 finals) the winners of each groups and the best 2nds (same criterias as above) will be seeds. The other clubs will be ranked depending on their number of points too, and assign in one or the other part of the table (see attached). As we are playing groups of six, there is a chance that two teams coming from the same group in the first round play again before the final…

In case of a last minute forfeit, leaving a group with 5 clubs instead of 6, the ranking to get the order of 2nd, 3rd, 4th teams in groups will be made by excluding all results vs the 6th team of each group.
This in order to avoid giving too much advantage to the clubs of the group with the forfeit.
