About FISTF Departments
What are FISTF Commissions/Committees?
FISTF Commissions/Committees are special groups of people (Commissioners) invited/nominated by the FISTF Board of Directors to help on determined tasks under the supervision of one of the FISTF Board members who shall have the right to be members of those Commissions.
It is not mandatory that these members be members of a FISTF Member Nation or FISTF Partner Nation.
Are the FISTF Commissions legal?
FISTF Commissions are completely legal under the FISTF Statutes. The FISTF Statutes are very clear about this situation:

15-3 The Vice-President in charge of each Department shall create Committees to assist him and nominate the members of such Committee.

The General Secretary is the head of the secretariat of FISTF.
His responsibilities are:

c) The management of relations between FISTF and National Associations, Confederations, Departments, and Commissions;
