Players Transfers 2012/2013 – Guidelines and reminders

Dear Sirs/Madams,

In order to clarify the correct procedures about the transfer of players for the 2012/2013 season, we would like to give to the Clubs and Players some guidelines that will help to complete the transfer process.

1. About the Transfer Form F06

1.1 The FISTF Form F06 – Transfer form 2012/2013, available at http://fistf.com/handbook-rules-and-regulations, shall be used for every player transfer.

1.2 No other form or document will be accepted by the FISTF for these purposes.

1.3 The form must be completed with all mandatory data.

1.4 The form must be signed by the player and by a responsible of the new club and the former club. For players under 18 years, the signature of a parent or guardian is also mandatory.

1.5 A player who wants to become a “free agent” (not attached to a club) shall complete the transfer form too. This will be considered as a valid transfer.

1.6 Only a transfer will be allowed in the same season.

2. The Sending of the Form

2.1 The form must be sent to the respective national association with a copy to FISTF.

2.2 The National Associations must confirm the transfer and proceed in accordance of their national regulations.

2.3 Deadline for sending the transfers for 2012/2013 season is the 31st of August 2012. Please check also 4.2

3. Nationality of Players and Licensing

3.1 Nationality of a player refers to the country from which the player is a legal citizen and not the country where the player lives.

3.2 Only the national association of the country from which the player is a legal citizen can grant him/her a license.

4. Season and deadlines

4.1 The transfers for the season 2012/2013 will be valid between the 1st September 2012 and 31st August 2013.

4.2 For those transfers that were not sent before the 1st September 2012, a special transfer period until the 31st of December 2012 will be accepted if the player didn’t play any FISTF competition after the 1st September 2012 only.

4.3 From the 1st January 2013, no transfer will be accepted for the 2012/2013 season.

5. Acceptance of transfers by FISTF

5.1. If these procedures are not respected, FISTF will reject the transfer until all regulations are fulfilled.

5.2. A list of all accepted transfer will be published on the FISTF website in due time.
