“I think if we come more times in the World Cup and other tournaments, we will go much better.”

On what makes France and Italy strong:
“All the girls are more trained and most of them played a lot of years. I played a lot of years too but with Covid pandemic and my work – I am a paramedic – it’s a little bit difficult for me to be trained.”

Mélina SCHEEN (BEL)

On playing against powerhouses France and Italy:
“As you can see, despite the difficulties, I did my best and even if we lost, we learned a lot.

“We need to train more. To have more experience would be good.”

On what she took out of her first World Cup experience:
“I can see that even if a match is difficult, I am able to maintain my level and even improve it.”
