Flores wins International Open of Valencia

Carlos Flores (F.Lli Bari Reggio Emilia/ESP) claimed the International Open of Valencia 2023 in Open category, after beating David Gonzalez (Mallorca Águilas FM/ESP) 5-1 in the final.
Miguel Angel Lopez (Mallorca Águilas FM/ESP) and Alberto Mateos (SC Fiamme Azzurre/ESP) completed the podium.

Open Podium:  Gonzalez (2nd), Flores (1st), Lopez and Mateos.

Rubén Benita (AFT Turia 1981/ESP) claimed the U-20 category after winning the group, leading Jesús Maireles ( Tiburones FM/ESP).
Manuel Munoz (Subbuteo Dragons Azuqueca/ESP) finished 3rd and Paula Maireles (Tiburones FM/ESP) finished 4th.

U20 podium: Jesús Maireles (2nd), Rubén Benita (1st), Paula Maireles (4th) Manuel Munoz (3rd).

Carolina Villarigues (Subbuteo Dragons Azuqueca/POR) took the Women’s category, ahead of Paula Maireles and Stefka Pirova (AFT Turia 1981/ESP).

Women’s podium: Maireles, Villarigues and Pirova

Álex Iliev (AFT Turia 1981/ESP) won the U16 category, ahead of Martí Rosa (AS Iluro FT/ES) in the group, on goal difference.

U16 Podium: Rosa (2nd), Iliev (1st), Jesus Maireles (3rd), Benita (4th).

Antonio Montaño (Tiburones FM/ESP) claimed the veterans event, beating Juan Carlos Granados (CAP Ciudad de Murcia FM/ESP) 3-2 in the final.
Third place was shared by Ferran Col (Tiburones FM/ESP) and Luis Lopez (Tiburones FM/ESP).

Veterans Podum: Granados (2nd), Montano (1st), Col (3rd)

José David Somoza (Subbuteo Dragons Azuqueca/ES) won the Consolation Silver Cup, beating Miguel Ángel Heredia 2-1 in the final.

Tiburones FM won the teans event, after beating CAP Ciudad de Murcia 3-1 in the final.
The semi-finalists were Mallorca Eagles alongside the hosts FT Turia 1981.
