TFAI – Table Football Association Ireland is the governing body of Sport Table Football in the Republic of Ireland. There are 31 local authorities (counties)

The former governing body was the Republic of Ireland Subbuteo Association (RISA) headed by Martin Taylor. When the sport was at its peak in the early 1990s, Dublin was a highly respected International Open venue which attracted the World’s top players. From 1994-2002 the Irish Subbuteo scene declined but it was given a much needed boost when the Irish Team made a comeback at the 2002 World Cup in Birmingham. This led to the formation of the new governing body, TFAI, and the beginning of a new era, which has seen Ireland organise & travel to International Events, participate in the UK & Ireland Internationals and jointly organise the Irish Circuit with NITFA, their Northern Counterparts.
