Dimitris Dimopoulos finishes year top of Open ranking

Despite disruptions and delays, the final Open rankings of 2021 have been released, with Greece’s Dimitris Dimopoulos holding the No.1 position.


The Bologna Tigers player edged ahead of Christophe Dheur (BEL/Valletta SC), with Alberto Di Maggio (GRE/Bologna Tigers) in 3rd place.
The leading non-European player was Singapore’s Rudy Hesty Roslan (Jurong Central), followed by countrymen Bernard Lim (Singapore Lions) and Benny Ng (Western Flickers).
Leading the Veteran Rankings was Spain’s Antonio Montano (Tiburones), followed by Daniel Scheen (BEL/Stembert) and Kostas Kechris (GRE/Larissas).
In the women’s category France’s Audrey Herbaut (Elan SC Champs) came out top, ahead of Eleftheria Papanikolaou (GRE/Glyfada United TSC) and Françoise Guyot (FRA/Elan SC Champs).
The Under 20 top ranked was Jurgen Balzan (MLT/Stembert), ahead of Corentin Boltz (BEL/Hennuyer) and Matthias Averlant (BEL/Templeuve).
Greece’s Evangelos Kotrotsos (Rolligans) led the U16 ranking, with Jann Segers (BEL/Hennuyer) and Mattia Ferrante (ITA/Sessana) in third position.
In the U12 category, Louis Soret (FRA/Hennuyer) finished top, ahead of Mattia Trevisani (ITA/Reggio Emilia) and Maximos Di Maggio (GRE/Flaming Flickers).
Top ranked team was TSC Falcons Athens, ahead of Valletta SC and SC Charleroi.
