In the Open category, Lucas Battista (ITA/TS Napoli Fighters) won 3-1 against the surprising young Italian player from SC Labronico, Leonardo Giudice.
Battista and Giudice respectively eliminated the legendary Saverio Bari (3-0) and the young Sicilian talent Ricardo Natoli (4-3).
The new member of F.Lli Bari Reggio Emilia, Cesare Santanicchia, won 3-2 against the reigning world champion Gianfranco Calonico (ITA/Master Sanremo). In the semi-final, Calonico beat his teammate Massimiliano Croatti (ITA/Master Sanremo) with a score of 2-1 while Santanicchia beat Bernardo Impallomeni (ITA/Subbuteo Vomero) 5-3 in the other match of the last four.
Francesco Manfredelli (ITA/ CCT Eagles Napoli) dominated in the U20 event, beating 3-2 the talented Mattia Ferrante (ITA/ Sc Fiamme Azzurre)
In U16, Lorenzo Fricano from Subbuteo Casale won 3-0 without a mistake against Nicolo Colossi (ITA/SC Bari)
Meanwhile, Vincenzo Brandi (ITA/TS Napoli Fighters) claims by the smallest gap (1-0) his victory in the U12 category against Antonio Martinelli (ITA/SC Bari)
In the team event, 19 teams were taking part in the competition, after the two individual victories, the TS Napoli Fighters made the triple by winning the team title against the B team (!) of CCT Eagles Napoli.

The last but not least… A magnificent initiative was undertaken by the organizers to offer the possibility to people with reduced mobility to participate in this Open in this beautiful city of Naples, and it was Maurizio Vezzo who won. The result is more anecdotal than the fact of the mental strength that resides in these courageous people.
