Formula
The open competition will be hold on Saturday 22/04/2023. We will try to make groups of 4 players so every player can play at least 3 matches. After elimination of the first round there will be the possibility to participate the WASPA tournament.
Categories:-
U12: born after 01/01/2011-
U16: born between 01/01/2007 and 31/12/2010-
U20: born between 01/01/2003 and 31/12/2006-
Veterans: born in 1978 or before.-
Women: The players have to decide their category before the start of the tournament (inscription by email). It is not possible to combine two categories.
Team event:- A Club can participate with more than one team.
All the games will be played on Extreme Work Pitches. Trophies will be given for the players who reach the semi finals and final and this for each category.
Rules:
The tournament will be played by the rules used by The Federation International Sport Table Football. Each player had to respect these rules and had to respect the fair play policy.
Food and drinks:
During the event, there will be a catering for food and drinks. Due to our 20th anniversary, we will lance our own Blond “Flick & Kick” Beer and our own Dark “Back, Please” Beer. There will be a possibility to taste and buy them at the tournament.
Charity
The International Golden Grand Prix of Flanders will be organized in cooperation with YRKV Mechelen, Belgian 1st division team founded in 1904, matricule 25. To honour this level of partnership, Subbuteo Club Flanders decided to donate all profits from the tournament to the Yellow Red Army on Wheels – “G-Teams”, an organization wich organizes football games for players with a mental or physical handicap. We thank you supporting us and hope you have a wonderful time at our Golden Grand Prix and in Mechelen. Do also take the time to discover the beautiful city of Mechelen, capital of the Netherlands between 1474 and 1531.
