2020-11#08 – Voting for Resolution J5) – Traditional / Classic Subbuteo World Cup category

Decission to recommend to the Congress 2020 to install the Old Subbuteo World Cup category

Reasoning:

• To create a bigger playing Community for FISTF.
• Invite players who prefer the old way to play.
• Motivate all players world wide to join FISTF.

Proposal : A functioning commission will create acceptable FISTF conditions as soon as possible. All FISTF members will be invited to be part of this new FISTF Category.

The idea is that a working group be established to look at including a ‘Classic Subbuteo’ category event at the World Cup and also within national associations if they want.
It was agreed that there’s a growing community of old school Subbuteo players, using the old rules, old equipment.
The working group will look at the rules, equipment (material) and necessary conditions.
It was agreed there would be just one category „Open“, and not split by ages.
This would be a good move to bring more people under the FISTF umbrella.

• J5.1 – Agree traditional SWC, Yes
• J5.2 – We reject traditional SWC
