2020-11#12 – Voting for Resolution J9) – Change to the format of the World Cup

Team events (Veterans, Women, U20, U16, U12) to be staged on Friday afternoon/evening. Open to be changed (see below).  Individual events to be staged on Saturday & Sunday (group phase, first stage of elimination matches); Sunday to have final ranking round matches for all players.

Advantage: A focus on more matches for all players, including those travelling furthest to attend the world cup. Capacity to finish each day at a reasonable time. (A complete document detailing proposal attached)

Resolution options :

• J9.1 – Agree Change of format World Cup, Friday team event
• J9.2 – Reject Change of format World Cup, Friday team event
