Preamble
Dear Member Associations.
COVID-19 has had a serious impact on the 2019-2020 season.
Currently, we have extended the current season until December 31.
However, we have to make a decision for the future.
We have two options:
- Option 1: The FISTF season remains the same as it currently stated in the FISTF Handbook, which is September 1 to August 31. (Note: FISTF has extended the current season until December 31. This would mean that next year (2021) there would be a short season from 1 January to 31 August, before the 2021-2022 season starts.)
- Option 2: The FISTF season moves permanently to January 1 to December 31 each year onwards, starting on 1 January 2021.
A first vote saw a perfect equality between the two possibilities.
In accordance with the internet voting rules established by the FISTF, a second vote is taken to find a majority. This second vote no longer allows abstention.
Voting ends at Midnight, Thursday 9th July.
