Preamble

Changes to Section 2.10.5 Satellites:

Specific competition rules:

(iv) In a Satellite, all players should compete in the Open category, although other categories are allowed or in an “under” category (Under 20, Under 16, Under 12).
Players competing are restricted to those ranked outside the top 20 in the World Ranking.

Angelinas spoke to this resolution.
It was proposed that in Satellites, both Veteran and Women’s categories are removed, though ‘Under’ categories permitted.
It was also proposed that only those players outside the Top 20 (in Open, U20, U16, U12) be permitted to compete.

As per the FISTF Statutes, a 66.67 pct majority vote is needed to carry this resolution.
Abstention is not a cast vote (it was voted but will not be considered in the final results).
