Preamble
8.1. General Competition structure
Changes to text – removes (red), additions (bold) :
(a) A team comprises 4 players and 2 reserves for each match. 1 reserve for each match, or 2 reserves for each match if and only if a minimum of one “under” player is among the total six players of the team for the specific game.
f) The coach of each team is responsible for all aspects of the team. The coach should be written in the score sheet of each game. It is not mandatory that the coach be a member of the club. A change of the coach is allowed only in half time as long as it is written on the score sheet.
(Submitted by C Angelinas, FISTF Sports Director)
Angelinas spoke to this as a way of encouraging youth players to be included in teams. Dimakeas (GRE) supported this, as a way of encouraging clubs to develop their players and encourage them by including them in team events. It is an important part of development. Importantly, teams can only name 6 on the score sheet if they include an ‘Under’ player on the sheet.
