It is with great sadness that we must report that the Major of Rochefort 2022 scheduled for January has been cancelled.
Titi Giaux and Justin Leroy from Rochefort Table Soccer (RTS) made the decision after it was decided the venue would not be usable after the July floods that smashed through parts of western Europe.
A search for an alternative venue came up empty.
“There was just too much damage,” said Justin.
Organising a Major is a significant undertaking, and with uncertainty over a venue, the RTS team made the call as early as they could to prevent people making travel plans for the January event, scheduled January 22-23.
“We will do our best to organise the 2023 event,” said Justin.
