It is with great sadness that we inform the table football community — or TS as he would prefer — of the passing Mike Dent, former European Champion and vice World Champion in 1974.
An intelligent and vibrant character, he lived for years in Malaysia, taught marketing and was adored by his students, and more generally everyone who knew him.
He assisted with building the game in Asia, working to promote the sport in Malaysia, Singapore and Australia.
He took part in the 2016 Asian Cup in Singapore, and the 2020 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, where his skill was evident.
