Heyvaert and Van Os share the two titles at the Huy double Satellite

38 players from Belgium and the Netherlands traveled to Huy for the individual doubles satellite tournament on April 4th and 5th, 2026.

Beyond the sporting aspect, we commend the passion and hard work of Ralf Grégoire and his team for providing the participants with a beautiful and friendly competition.

Saturday saw a strong field of players with some surprising and interesting results.

The quarterfinals were dominated by Jean Grosdent (Wamme SC/BEL) against Jarno Marks (Dutch Legends/NED), Jérôme Heyvaert (Racing White Woluwé Subbuteo/BEL) against Casey Van Os (MVV Rijnmond/NED), Bruno Timpano (Wamme SC/BEL) against Quentin Van Glabeke (ST Stembert/BEL), and William Van den Houte (SC Temploux/BEL) against Joffray Laurent (SC Lion’s Eugies/BEL).

The semi-finals saw Jérôme Heyvaert defeat Jean Grosdent 2-0 and William Van den Houte prevail over Bruno Timpano on penalties after a hard-fought match that ended 2-2 in regulation time.

In the final, Jérôme Heyvaert edged out William Van den Houte to claim the title with a score of 2-1.

Sunday also held its share of surprises. The semi-final winners were decided by the narrowest of margins, as Lucas Père (Avenir Subbuteo Hennuyer) lost to Jarno Marks (Dutch Legends/NED) by the slimmest of margins (1-2), while Casey Van Os (MVV Rijnmond/NED) edged out Joffray Laurent (SC Lion’s Eugies/BEL) 2-1.

In the final, we saw the surprising Jarno Marks, but the score was decisive against the resistance, talent, and charm of Casey Van Os. Final score 4-0 in favor of the MVV Rijmond player.
