Vienna GP a huge success

Wolfgang Leitner (TSC Royal 78 Kaisermühlen/AUT) claimed his home Grand Prix, beating Massimiliano Nastasi (Bologna Tigers Subbuteo/ITA) 2-1 in the Open final.
Nastasi beat Jurgen Balzan (ST Stembert/MLT) 2-0 in their semi final, while Leitner beat clubmate Christian Haas 4-2.

Daniel Scheen (ST Stembert/BEL) claimed the Veterans event, beating Erich Hinkelmann (TSC Phoenix/AUT) 3-2 in golden goal extra time.
Scheen beat Gerardo Patruno (Bologna Tigers Subbuteo/ITA) 4-3 in a sudden death semi final, while Hinkelmann beat Jason Pisani (Bormla SC/MLT).

In the U20 event Jann Segers (Avenir Subbuteo Hennuyer/BEL) beat clubmate Lucas Pere 4-3 with a golden goal.
Both semi finals were decided on shots, with Segers beating clubmate Jérôme Cyganek 3-3 (2-1), while Pere beat Daniel Vranovitz (TSC Royal 78 Kaisermühlen/AUT) 2-2 (3-2).

Jérôme Cyganek claimed the U16 event, beating Benjamin Marain (Avenir Subbuteo Hennuyer/BEL) 6-3.
Apollon Dimakeas and Nikolaos Georganoudis (both of Roligans Ilioupolis TSC) filled out the final places.

Mélina Scheen (ST Stembert/BEL) beat Katharina Waldorf-Busch (Bormla SC/AUT)  3-0 in the women’s final.
Melanie Kronmüller (Subbuteo Club Höpfigheim/GER)  and Marianna Bouzid (Roligans Ilioupolis TSC/GRE) completed the podium.
