Variants are the different options available for a given product model that only differ in internal geometry and/or material composition. For example: a figure that is made in both a rigid and flexible plastic would be counted as one model (a single "type") with two variants, provided the geometry is identical for both variants. Figures with different overall body shapes and/or sizes (eg. male and female figures) will be considered separate models, needing separate applications for inspection. However, figures with different face types to represent different human face shapes will be considered variants of the same model of figure, provided they do not change the height or thickness of the head. Purely cosmetic options that do not alter any geometry (colour, paint, stickers and/or decals) will not be considered distinct models or variants, and do not need to be detailed below. All variants will be required to be shipped and inspected at that stage in the process.
Figures and bases will not be granted FISTF Conforming status in their fully-assembled playing figure state. It is the player's responsibility to ensure that their assembled playing figures (figures + bases) are within the required height ranges outlined by the equipment regulations and enforced by the measuring tool, as well as being composed of FISTF Conforming figures and bases.

Applicant agrees that their product must be available to the public in order to be eligible for inspection (no private prototypes will be eligible for Inspection/FISTF Conforming status)

Applicant agrees that the product(s) submitted contains no FISTF Conforming parts from any other manufacturer but themselves
