Stephane Lambert claims Yokohama International Open

Stephane Lambert (Yokohama OSC/BEL) claimed the Yokohama International Open, beating Takafumi Kido (Abelia TFC/JPN) 1-0 after extra time.
The FISTF International Open was held in Yokohama as the Spring Tournament 2023. A total of 13 players participated in the tournament, which was held in individual matches only in the open category.
Of the 13 people, 4 people participated in the tournament for the first time.


Impressively the event was played in the “Tsutsujigaoka” elementary school gymnasium and two teachers come the tournament.
In the group league, there were notable match that Suguru Fujino (Tokyo Sunzeol TFC), ex-top ranked player of Japan, was defeated by Stephane Lambert (BEL), but Suguru passed the group in 1st place.
Stephane won the game against club mate Taichi Kato(Yokohama OSC) in the quarterfinal.
Takafumi Kido (Abelia TFC), top ranked player of this tournament beat Suguru 2-0 in the semifinal.
In the final, Takafumi had few chances to score, similarly Stephane made a lot of mistakes, and the match ended 0-0,
In extra time, Stephane broke through to score.
Third place went to Suguru and Andrew Martini (Saitama TFC).
Yohei Gomi (Yokohama OSC), who participated for the second time, defeated Keiichi Konnno in the shootout in the plate match, which was held in parallel with the final rounds.
