Sports Table Football goes to Vienna in April hosted by TSC Royal 78 Kaisermuhlen.

Snow was falling outside but plenty of heat was being generated inside as ten teams competed in the Scottish GP Team Event.
In the end-up it was the top two seeds, Tiburones (Spain) and Royal 78 Kaisermuhlen (Austria) who met in the final.
The key results in this closely but fairly contested match were Antonio Montano’s and Daniel Scheen’s wins over Thomas Wittman and Christian Haas.

The final overall score was 2-1.

The Plate Consolation was won by Dundee United A Team.

Great news out of Canada where Mike Sgro has taken over the position of President of the Canadian Subbuteo Table Football Association (CSTFA).

Mike Sgro
Previous incumbent, Shane Hoopfer, is staying on as VP to help with the transition phase as a new Board is built.
This is great news for our sport in North America, with CSTFA and the American Subbuteo Association fully supported by FISTF as the official associations to grow our sport and develop competitions across the region.

Japan’s national association, NOSK, were invited to participate in the Yokohama Football Film festival to stage demonstrations of our sport for those attending the football films.

More than 1000 people watched table football and had a time to flick in this event.

Denmark’s Jesper Stasl Nielsen san and Tommas lange Clausen san helped the event during their traveling in Japan.

Most of spectators obviously had a great passion for football, and were pleasantly surprised when discovering table football.
A special friendly match between Cédric Garnier and Jesper gave the biggest impact, as people recognised that table football had its own magic!

Manuel Santos of SC Grosseto won the Individual Open event at the International Open Cascai, beating Ricardo Pavão in the final.
