On his feelings after winning gold:
“It’s beautiful because after many years, after Covid, it’s important to win the title in Italy. And there was no better opportunity for it because we are playing at home. We wanted to play our best to bring him the title.”
On recovering from losing the gold medal game in the Open individual on Saturday:
“It’s always difficult. But the next day the most important thing is the team. If you think that way, you think about the victory.”
