French club Saint-Symphorien-sur-Coise stages innovative ‘derby’.

French club Foot de table club de SaintSymphorien-sur-Coise staged an innovative promotional event recently, with club members of rival football clubs taking to the table.

Four of the club members – Herve Rakowski, Denis Polsinelli, Cedric Pandolfi and Cyprien Bonnet — are all fans of Olympique Lyonnais, while the remainder of the club support St Etienne.

In a battle for honour, a team of the ASSE supporters, Mickael Blanc, Daniel Guyot, Cyril Bolusset, Laurent Meygret, and Julien Blanchon faced off with their clubmates.

“There was a real tension, a real pressure, but always in a very good atmosphere,” said club organiser Julien Blanchon.

After leading 2-1 at halftime, the ASSE lads ended up cracking against the motivated Lyonnais to lose 3-1 — such is the drama of team events.

“A big thank you to our main sponsor (Agricultural Credit) for attending this derby, to the Mayor of St Symphorien for stopping by to say hi, as well as to Messrs Voute, Guillon and Breuil for all the reports and reports on Le Progrès newspaper from Lyon,” said Julien.

“And finally to BFM Lyon who did a tv report and will do a longer report on the club in the near future.”

Major of Rochefort cancelled for 2022

It is with great sadness that we must report that the Major of Rochefort 2022 scheduled for January has been cancelled.
Titi Giaux and Justin Leroy from Rochefort Table Soccer (RTS) made the decision after it was decided the venue would not be usable after the July floods that smashed through parts of western Europe.
A search for an alternative venue came up empty.
“There was just too much damage,” said Justin.
Organising a Major is a significant undertaking, and with uncertainty over a venue, the RTS team made the call as early as they could to prevent people making travel plans for the January event, scheduled January 22-23.
“We will do our best to organise the 2023 event,” said Justin.

Dear All,
While the official transfer period of FISTF is from 1st December to 31st January, as stated in the FISTF Handbook, the Board of Directors has decided that a “Special Transfer Period ” from 11 September to 30 September will be enforced.
This is allowing for the severe disruption to the FISTF Tour over the last year, and to allow players to participate in forthcoming events if their existing club does not wish to participate in these events.
All players/clubs wishing to take advantage of this ‘Special Transfer Period’ need to complete form F06 and MNAs must submit updated Form 20 by 10 October.
The transfer is considered legal from the moment the Form F06 is received and acknowledged by FISTF.
Players may additionally play in team events for their new club.
The only restrictions are that a player who has already played in a FISTF team event during the 2021 season cannot play for the team of their new club.
The new transfer window will open on December 1st. Once the official transfer period begins on December 1, and they use this period to transfer again, they will not be able to play for their new club
in team events for a period of 14 days.
